Our Literacy curriculum celebrates the cohesive nature of two subjects in school: reading and writing. 

We know that pupils who show an interest in reading (and read varied texts regularly) make greater progress in writing. The wealth of vocabulary and imaginative ideas they can gain from reading should never be underestimated.

This is why our writing curriculum is built around high-quality texts from EYFS to Y6. Children who stay with us for their entire primary school chapter will be exposed to more than 100 high-quality books to inspire their literacy learning.
