Friends of Heron Hill
Friends of Heron Hill work tirelessly behind the scenes to raise funds to support the many enrichment opportunities we offer to our children. Their work means that we can reduce costs for families for educational visits and residentials, and helps fund the costs of visitors to school (e.g. authors, dance artists, history, music and DT workshops, Zoolab... and much, much more).
To find out more about FOHH, past and future plans and events and how you can get involved, please read the information below.
Events during 2023-2024 have included Cauliflower Cards (whole-school fundraiser), three discos for Nursery-Year 6 pupils, an adults' Christmas shopping event, a mini-Christmas Fair for the children and a Christmas Bake Sale. In the spring term, Friends held an Easter Treasure Hunt around the school grounds and a 'Break the Rules' fundraiser, both of which were thoroughly enjoyed by the children. The commemorative 50th anniversary tea towels and the Summer Fair were a resounding success. See our summer newsletter for more information and to see how much we have raised and given to the school this year.
